"My first response on
reading this email page was: 'Gee, I've wanted to do this for a
long time -- pick up bits of garbage that have been left in my wild
neighbourhood park for years.' But I didn't. I was scared! Scared
that others would judge or demean me as crazy, and I wasn't strong
enough to bear such a possibility.
I had needed psychic
permission to pick up garbage independently and voluntarily. I had
needed someone to support me. This support is what I
felt from garbageprophecy.org, and off
I went for a first try. I soon felt good that I'd consciously
recognized my fear, faced it and acted against it, thereby reducing
the ugliness of my world by a miniscule percentage. I will
continue. Thanks. K."

"I was cat-sitting for a neighbor
recently. Only the cat was pretty old and one day he went missing.
I casually asked another neighbor it he'd see him but the answer
was 'no'. I felt pretty bad because the neighbors were coming home
that day and the cat had been missing for three days. Eventhough
the cat was old I at least wanted the neighbors to see him so they
could get closure, rather than the cat disappearing forever and no
one ever knowing what happened.
Well, I had been picking up quite a
lot of garbage around the neighborhood recently and I felt pretty
good about it, although the cat thing brought me down. Well,
anyway, two hours before the family came home, a third neighbor on
a fluke found the cat under their car. And on another fluke they
asked my other neighbor if he knew who the cat belonged to. He said
I was looking for it and came running to get me. To make a long
story short, we got the cat back just in time to be reunited with
his family.
I found the situation interesting -
it's like the universe conspired in my favor. Thanks Garbage
Prophecy. I will keep watching for flukes. B"

"Hi there. I have recently been
unemployed for quite some time. I happened upon this web site and
figured I'd give it a try. In fact, I began to picking up garbage
all over town. I had no expectations. But wouldn't you know it
these two municipal employees drove up to me and offered me a job
with the city. Thanks Georges. I will keep my eyes peeled for
bigger things to happen. B (Montreal)."

"I can't speak of miracles happening,
but I will say one thing: when I pick up garbage, I don't even
usually take more than one garbage bag with me. I find that there
are so many of those plastic shopping bags amongst the garbage that
I never need a fresh garbage bag. They seem to come to me
regularly, just about when the one I'm holding becomes
full.
The other day I was waiting for a
friend and decided to clean up a stretch of abandoned city property
while I waited. But as soon as my hands got full I realized I
didn't have a bag. Well, just then a guy came running over to me
and handed me a plastic bag from his lunch. It really is
interesting. It's like the universe is conspiring to help me help
it. B (Montreal)."
